Overview
Immerse yourself in a unique convergence of exceptional artists, stimulating and diverse repertoire, and community with engaged fellow music lovers in our second collaboration with the legendary Ojai Music Festival, an annual celebration of music that matters.
Seven performances showcase the brilliance and creativity of an acclaimed group of artists, gathered together by music director Leif Ove Andsnes, "a pianist of magisterial elegance, power and insight" (New York Times).
Join us for this exciting exploration of adventurous music. Begin with an early summer evening picnic on the expansive lawns of UC Berkeley's beautiful Faculty Glade right outside the concert venue. Then relax and enjoy two performances each night in the superb acoustical setting of Hertz Hall. And the whole celebration kicks off with a free outdoor performance of John Luther Adams's Inuksuit!

Picnic in the Glade
BYOB (bring your own blanket—or chairs!) and join us before the concerts to enjoy an early summer evening picnic on the lovely Faculty Glade lawns outside of Hertz Hall. Pack your own picnic fare (or have purchased an elegant box dinner to pick up outside the hall).
The Faculty Glade is a classic picnic spot: a beautiful expansive lawn perfect for laying down a blanket or setting up a few beach chairs. Unfortunately, there are no picnic tables available, so please plan ahead to bring your own picnic gear, including blankets and/or chairs. (There will be a spot available in Hertz Hall to leave it while you watch the concert.)
A few notes about the pre-ordered dinners:
- Dinner tickets had to have been purchased in advance of the noon, June 11th deadline. Dinners will not be available for purchase the nights of the shows.
- Pre-ordered dinners are available for pickup beginning at 5:45 pm in the front lobby of Hertz Hall. And if you choose to wait until after the first concert to pick up your dinner, that is fine as well.
- Beverages are not included (but will be available for purchase).
- Dinner tickets are not refundable, nor are they exchangeable for other events.
Venue: Hertz Hall
